I love this, with his big ears I’m reminded of a fennec fox- they are such sweet little animals!
And with his lovely muted colors, I think he’s keeping watch for something in the desert at night, I especially like the picture with his back turned- he looks like he’s in contemplation mode :)

Searching thank you for your awesome praise, I love to find glass foxes and this one by Boyd is a heart stealer, look at those alert ears!
Lauren you are so right, this fox is a wily watchful one allright! It is a very unusual color, a cool grayish purple that seems fitting for a fox (i.e. look at the silver foxes). I love those pointy ears and also the sharp nose, foxes almost look like dogs to me, and this piece is sometimes confused with a wolf. Fabulous comment as ever thank you so much!
Phil thank you for your super praise, Boyd did make a nice fox mould here, the original design was from the 1970s, retired for awhile then brought back & I'm glad to have found one - glass foxes are pretty rare and often cost a fortune

Foxes in glass are so hard for me to find and this is a reissue of a retired mould, so when I saw the silvery color I was like, yes!! Thank you my friend for your sweet words & love, always a delight :)
