Chinese Wood Carved Box

Approximately 9 3/8" x 5 1/2" x 5" tall

Picked this up the other day. It had some light overspray on top of white paint. I hit it with some thinner and applied some stain. Anything you see now, is reflection of the led lights.(except the one white dot on the top, that I fixed after the pictures)

The box has a flower motif that frames carvings of birds on the top and front. It's a high relief carving. Most of these boxes have ship motifs. There is remains of Chinese stamps on the bottom.
