Hello everyone!!
The latest addition to my still bank collection is this cast iron sleeping pig. I love this one as you just don't see many cast iron sleeping piggy banks. I really love the way that this one was cast. I've studied this one very closely and found that this one was cast in three separate molds, with one being the extended front leg. He's a unique one and I've not found another like him, yet. I do not know a true age of this one and I call him vintage, but judging by his style and his polychrome paint, he may well be antique. He's quite heavy and measures just over 7" long.

One unique item that stood out to me is the three separate castings. If you’ll notice, the front leg is attached to the body and not part of the casting. So, this one would have been more costly to manufacture.
