This is a small sign, 8"x8". It is basically saying that Mobil Gas stations had clean restrooms which is not all that likely. They were probably cleaner than the restroom of a Chinese restaurant I used to go to though.
Apparently at some time this sign was in a fire, perhaps the restroom caught on fire. It was a rather severe fire that melted the porcelain but thankfully the Pegasus was spared. I don't think this is a modern novelty sign as there would be more available for sale if it was but then again But people do things to these and other pieces to make them look old. What I paid for this sign is almost nothing so it is all good regardless.
