WW2 trench art p- 38 airplane

Mediterranean theater P- 38 trench art airplane.

The plane is well made and cast aluminum, sitting atop a deco stylized woman. There is a ball joint that allows the plane to move.

The ashtray base is also cast aluminum with an etched 15th Air Force insignia and an aircraft plexiglass base.

Overall the plane and base sits about a foot tall but is surprisingly light due to the aluminum construction.

The stylized woman and quality casting are markers for the Mediterranean theater.
