Here is a 4"H cobalt blue textured glass dinosaur, most probably meant to be a tyrannosaurus as its name is Rex. Made by Boyd Glass of Cambridge OH, with B in diamond imprint on upper base from the early 1990s

The blue tones really make this a dangerous discovery. so nice to see a glass version in that beautiful cobalt blue !~
OK then, cute dinosaur in blue glass, could not be more adorable.
That's so cool! Y'know you never see dinosaurs depicted in things that aren't toys, science and education items, but seeing them done for something that's simply artistic is really unique. He would definitely make a great centerpiece in a 'grown up' boy (or girls!) room :)

Karen, and yet he does have the cute factor you know? This animal is certainly different from my norm, but since I've posted most of Boyd's other animals, I thought this ancient fella would be an interesting addition
Lauren isn't he just so cool, and totally agree that it's unusual to find a dino in glass. What I love is the body's sculpting & huge curved lizard's tail, he looks to be on the move
Lol JB, or like my husband first thing in the morning :) I can't say much to him until after his coffee...and even then, he's definitely not a morning person!
MrsT it's so nice to see you here and glad you liked the cuteness of my dino. It's so true they're rare in glass, this one came in other colors (mostly slag & opaque) so when I saw this clear cobalt blue I liked it best
