Here is a 6"L turquoise glass stingray with two round black eyes, from Dynasty Gallery Glass of San Francisco CA which was founded in 1951. Orig clear label on bottom

Phil that's so true, this stingray is really made realistically....I've looked at actual photos of them, and this glass one has the exact same body form and he does appear to be floating, cool observ! Thank you for your always fantastic & spot on comment
