Victorian diamond quilted rainbow satin glass squat vase

This is another outstanding example of diamond quilted rainbow satin glass, from the same auction as the preceding rose bowl.
Never have I seen a piece remotely like this one - the banded decor (clear stripes between the rainbow) is exceptional. The rainbow colours are also more varied with quite a lot of peach/light orange tones.
The vase has a simple squat form, measuring 12 cm tall, 8 cm across the fire polished top rim, 6.5 cm across the base, & a whopping 50 cm in girth around the widest point. There is a large, neatly polished out pontil mark.
It is also very heavy. Looks like about three layers of glass. Rainbow colours in broad bands, interspersed with thin clear vertical stripes, with an all over diamond quilted pattern, fading to white at the base.
Immaculate condition.
Could be English or Bohemian origin perhaps, circa 1880s.
