Went opping and came back with a trio of Keith Rowe. I saw the tall one first paid for it and went back to check an Oz pot and saw the smallest vase with some plastic grass hanging out of it. Returned to the cash register there was the pillow vase with some white plastic roses within. They needed liberation. Only two are marked …. the pillow does not have the impressed mark. The tall vase (31.5 cm) has an R impressed and smaller one (20 cm) a K in the pontil. They are all frosted but strangely have a faint iridescence in natural light. Trailing around the rim in different colours.
Keith Rowe has over 40 years of glass blowing experience and these days works out of Blacheath in the Blue Mountains to the west of Sydney, Australia.
I posted them on an Australian FB page and was fortunate enough to get two replies from Keith Rowe himself:
“Part of a pearl series Keith” & later “mid90s Small volume of pieces”.
I reckon they were originally bought together. I do have a favourite.
