The same but different. It always fun to see two different decors in the same shape. Both made in 1898, its a classic form for Loetz done in two different flavors. I was told years ago, that when the Loetz production number and the Loetz Phänomen Genre matched, it meant that you are looking at the first decor that shape was produced in. Makes sense I guess.
The Phen Genre 7499 is deeply carved on the surface giving it a wonderful tactile quality and great depth of color...and the iridescence makes it look like its plugged in!
