The first three images are from a brochure depicting the 1952 or 1953 model 12 passenger Snowmobile, the fourth is from a maintenance manual & spare part catalogue.
"Joseph-Armand Bombardier was a mechanic who dreamed of building a vehicle that could "float on snow". In 1937 he designed and produced his first snowmobile in his small repair shop in Valcourt, Quebec.
Bombardier's technological breakthrough in the design of bush vehicles came in the mid-1930s when he developed a drive system that revolutionized travel in snow and swampy conditions. In 1937 Bombardier sold 12 snowmobiles—named the B7 and, in 1942, created l'Auto-Neige Bombardier Limitée company."
In addition to personal snowmobiles, the Company is involved in Aerospace / Defence, & Railways with 66,000 employees worldwide.

Absolutely wonderful, I love the retro look!
Thanks for the nice comment & the love packrat.
Thanks for the love, scandi, mustang, Mani, kerry, & Phil.
Some of these were used long after being out of commission, I remember having to sit in the one on our property, waiting for the bus by the side of the road too, they were good in the very cold, bitter winter, some even had a little stove built in!~Phil.
I can just see you in there on a bitter Canadian winter morning, trying to scrape the frost off of the inside of the window to see if the bus is coming, thanks for the comment Phil! :-)
