A girlfriend and I went treasure hunting for the day today, one we try to do as often as we can, an around the mountain hunting trip, about 5 or six hours round trip taking in glorious scenery, which includes many dog stops and lunch as well as stopping at many little op-shops and second hand shops. The Mountain being Taranaki the one in my name photo. A good day always!
I found lots of little treasures to satisfy my obsession and.... and this little vase. I haven't done any research on it yet, but I believe it is a Kralik Mother of Pearl - Quilted vase it's not perfect it has a couple of chips just on the rim, but for the $8.00 I paid for it I thought it was worth every single little cent, had to haggle mind you!..from $10.00....;-)
