When I got this brooch it was really dirty, and when I cleaned it I realized that much of the details were in gold. The combination of gold and silver is really special. It has small turquoise and pearl details, and very fine engravings with stellar motifs. It is not signed, but most similar pieces I’ve seen are of French origin. I always get compliments on it whenever I wear it, I suppose it is not something you see every day!

I have on similar but without the turquoise stones all silver. Very nice..They were originally designed to keep the Scottish wraps on. I had to look on utube to find out how to use it..Quite unique..Love it. Thanks for sharing. blingiton1948
