      Interesting, I went to an auction last week and bought eight boxs of books. One was full of catalogs, mostly Moontgomery Wards. The earliest was a 1904 wards, full of all the things we collect. The lastest was 1988, full of all the things we throw away.

      that is so true. everytime i throw something out, i have to wonder if anyone will be digging it up in a 100 yrs, wondering why it was discarded!!!!

      Great research materials. Beautiful! I have a Montgomery Ward catalog from 1969! Not even close duh! I have some reprint Sears catalogs - and the one from 1923 shows my Mission Oak burlap Screen (purchased in 1996- $100) "solid oak frame, fumed finish. Filling is dark green burlap. Has thee 17 3/4 inch wings. Height 67 inches. Total width opened 53 1/4 inches. Shipping weight 13 lbs. $5.45
