A Whitehead & Hoag button from the time when the tracks were about finished heading west and not many people there had seen a locomotive, a small but real part of history c1898

(I added a image of the back) The last Pat. date is 1896 on the back paper, My guess would be 1898 many years after the first Locomotives.

I think this was a few years before NAFTA, Likely the areas they had tracks.
