    This was found in a tin in a local estate sale. I bought it because I thought it was unusual and interesting. It is small - only about 5.5cm wide but I love the hand shaped stem - it looks like a hand holding a horn??? It is obviously missing its handle. Could anyone tell me anything about it?

      I know I have seen this before. Can it be some version of a Roman standard finial, or Victorian ?
