As per usual, Geri set aside some silver for me. This mid-century brooch is too pretty to destroy. It also has that stupid mark, in the same place, which can be seen on one other piece of jewelry I posted here.

It ranks right up there with Kyra's urn thingy mark. I will probably never find out who belongs to that mark...and neither will Pascale..bah hahahaha!

Ahhhh, I'm not the only stuck with a mystery mark ;-))
The crystals are really beautiful and the brooch is very nicely made!
The problem is the mark being stamped on the needle, there is only a part of it visible!

I just have to say again...I love, love this pin. I expect you have taken it outside to look...hey have you tried to make it look like a negative??? Or even boost the colors. I use Picasa a lot and there's lots of this and that you might be able to try. I know how frustrating that is. Sometimes it happens that one day out of the blue you just find the missing clue you need, right?!?
Have you tested this for gold? Maybe, just maybe it's not silver at all!!! It very well could be gold. That's how pretty I think it is. Let me know.
