its an exact replica. probably a sales man sample. not much in the way of advertising on tv in 1960 . looks like a Mercedes on the logo . if it were American made advertising would've been more likely to have happen on tv and sales papers . if it is a sample, its value could go through the roof .

      really nice.

id been better off keeping my lid closed on this 1. lol

its not a Mercedes , PROBABLY not a sales man sample either . the paint scheme isn't 1 ive seen used from brief searching. it likely would not have been if it were a sample . finding the design is gonna be a real task. good luck.

It took a while, but I found some info about your bus. I mainly focused on the letters CY on the front of the bus. Eventually I found one Greyhound ad, that had the 1937 Yellow Coach bus that looked identical to yours. I then found, which had the history of the buses. From what little I read, your bus should have 37 seats in it. I then went to google images, and type in Yellow Coach toy bus, and there it was! It was a pic of the same bus, so I clicked on it, and found it's an old e-bay auction listing from 2015. The photos aren't there anymore, but when you scroll down it still has the description. You may have a rare piece. Here are the links:

The design is that of the 1936 Super Coach Greyhound. I know that Buddy "L" made one with this same paint job however it was a wind up. There was a time when gas stations would give promotional toys (like Get your very own cast toy tank with your 11th fill up!). I know there were tractors of this size that were part of one of those promotions. Just a thought.
