This is one of my nicest pieces of Wedgwood Jasperware. In black and white and decorated with the Dancing Hours, it was made in 1969. I found it in a charity shop and although it was expensive, it was a quarter of the price it should have been. I also bought some green candle sticks and a few other nice pieces, but left a large green urn. I went back the next day and got the green urn too!!
Ha ha ha, that is so me! I leave something, then can't stop obsessing, and have to go back later that day or the next morning, praying it's still there, lol. The worst is the swap meet since it's only open on the weekends. If I leave something behind, I have to wait all week and hope the same people come back and then hunt them down and then search for the thing I left behind, that they brought it, and that it wasn't sold. ;))
It's never a good idea to leave something you really like. I find it's nearly always gone if I go back for something.
FABULOUS !!!!
WOW !!!

AdeleC....An old antique dealer told me many years ago...If ya snooze, ya loose. I always remember this when I find something I have to have. Your Black Wedgewood is beautiful.
