I find these leather animals every now and then but i don't know where they are made and when or anything about them. this is a very large one at 14 inches long and 10 inches high. The leather is stretched over a mold and sewn together, i think.

I have some leather animals like that which were bought in Mexico ,however I am not sure they are made there or imported . I have a camel, elephant,horse but no lion. They were bought in 1990's . Love your lion

I too have a camel around here somewhere, it was a gift from a Brother-in-law who brought it back from the middle east with him after a tour of duty with the military, years ago.
