Today on this chilly day before Christmas Eve and with most of my holiday preparations nearly completed, I went on a quick Flea market jaunt. Found and rescued these beautiful glass ornaments. 9 or 10 boxes total. Stencils, indents, a beautiful glass tree topper. Couldn't bear to leave these laying on the ground. Well worth it for 6 dollars. Sorry for the poor photos, I will clean them up when I get the opportunity.

I remember this kind of ornament. I was in big trouble if I dropped one; they're wonderful to stare at with the room lights are out, but the Christmas tree lights on.
Got a great tree topper there. Got more than your $6 worth just with that. Many other fine ornaments too.

I only quickly went thru the boxes while purchasing them and only found the tree topper in a big red " Bambergers" box after arriving home. The seller threw the 6.00 price right away and I didn't even counter-offer. It was later in the day and we all wanted out of the 30 degree weather. He also gave me a large heavy duty bag to carry them away.

Tried to display what I felt were the better ornaments. In addition, there are aproximately 2 dozen glass bulbs with opaque purple and yellow bulbs from Poland. There are about a total of 150 ornaments with a glass gold colored tree topper. I love these babies!!! I placed the glass tree topper atop my tree in my little den. I ll see what the rest of the family feels about it in the AM. Happy New Year to All.

I would swear that we had *several* of those *very same* styled ornaments in the boxes of decorations used every year in my own childhood home -- also wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Mom and Dad still have 'em. :-) THANKS for the nice memories!! :-) :-) :-)

I believe we all had these glass ornaments. I love the stenciled ones "Merry Christmas" "Peace on Earth" Silent Night.
I had come across a large lot of these a few years ago. I gave away nearly all of them and was recently regretting that act of generosity. Then serendipity, I found a new bunch. I am keeping most of these, except if a find a fellow traveler who loves these as much as I do.

I found a bunch of these last year in an attic of a house I bought. I also found a tinsel tree. So I saved them for only that tree. They are just wonderful. Thanks for sharing!
