Sold this 20 years ago for a late friend!!! Never knew if it was real or a prop??? Gave them a heads up!!! Sold it as-is!!! in the description. He got a few hundred bucks!!! It displayed well!! Is it real???

My husband is a diver. He says fake. Worth about 2 hundred. All the fakes say 1941 on breast plate. Real ones have soldering around the portholes to keep them airtight. The lugs also are not right. You did fine.
Thank You!!! I always thought it was!!! My late friend brought it as real!! Told him it was not real. He was happy that I got anything for it.

I would snatched that up at that. I could probably get $1K here, even if not real. I understand that most fakes are really made well. The looks in a bar would be great here.
