This 2 1-4"W regal lion brooch has dark topaz & citrine pave rhinestones and two green eyes on goldtone. Marked Trifari 1997 on back

That's a really beautiful brooch- I think any depiction of a lion just happens to be so commanding and regal in tone. Again, he looks like those stone lions seen on the steps of buildings which are really majestic looking too!

Thank you Lauren my Leo friend for the always wonderful compliments, you are so lucky to have this kingly animal as your sign I love lions! You are absolutely right, it has a commanding presence such as you find in the famous stone lions on buildings, I have also seen beautiful ones guarding the doors of home entrances & almost bought a pair once but someone got there first :(

Ken thank you for the lovely compliment and yes it is one of the Safari collection animals, this is a more prevalent piece to find but there were other beauties that are super rare & I hope to come across them one day
