This 3"L hummingbird brooch has bright blue, green and red sequin looking rhinestones which were the hallmark of 1980s designer Suzanne Bjontegard from San Diego CA who began making costume jewelry in 1985

Lauren thank you for your terrific compliments and glad that this is one of your fave brooches of mine, I think the sequin type rhinestone body really does shimmer and resembles the actual hummer in flight, they have that beautiful iridescence and are so quick you barely get glimpses of them; it is far better for me watching TV docs where they can slow down their movements
