As one who lives in a National Forest Smokey Bear is big up here. We have our Smokey Bears signs all over around here.
This little guy was released as part of a camping set by Tonka in 1973. He is 4" tall about the size of GI Joe and the Star Wars figures so this may be one of the first the little action figures. This appears to be a fully licensed Smokey Bear product and made by Tonka so all good.
PS it is not Smokey The Bear just Smokey Bear.
Very cool..
