This 2 1-2"L goldtone pin has a colorfully enameled macaw parrot inside a white rhinestone accented swing that moves (parrot is immobile), held at the top by a bow pin that is marked Coro in script on back, ca 40s-50s

That's adorable- reminds me of something like a caberet show or even something behind a fancy bar?! You often see parrots in those older films sitting on swings like that- very funny! :)

Lauren yes this little guy could easily be part of a show or hanging by a tropical bar, keen observ! I visited Parrot Jungle in Miami FL pre-Hurricane Andrew and what struck me was that parrots are so smart, besides talking they play with large items like little cars, do tricks & can put blocks of different shape back into position on a board. I owned parakeets, but what held us back from being parrot owners is they require so much attention & screech very loudly if they don't get it lol! Thank you for your awesome comment & praise
