This 2 1-2"W basket brooch has multi color rhinestone flowers & green leaves in a handled white baguette and round rhinestone basket, on sterling silver. Jay Flex sterling round mark on back, ca 1950s-1960s

I love this especially since I only know it against what Sherman produced. Sherman probably seen this since he worked for Jay Flex before he started his own company. On comparison, this gem is as good as Sherman was making.

Phil that's such terrific praise to put this Jay Flex on par with Sherman, and I do know he had worked there so maybe they tapped some of his genius creativity. I am also thrilled to have found a nice Jay Flex piece to show you, they were big on wire working but there are still many of their rhinestone beauties out there
