Loetzlover's excellent post several months ago of a vase in this decor described it perfectly, so I will not attempt to alter it here. But here is an example in a different shape for which there is a surviving paper pattern, PN II-1/884. Bought at auction from the living estate of a friend, I am very pleased to share it here.
