What ceramics collection is complete with-out a crappy dog and Winston caricature. I believe these are Japanese, probably made during the war, before Japan became "occupied". I can't even remember where I got these,but I've not seen any others, and they are just too funny to not show off! The fourth pic is of a plastic or bakelite articulated baby, and a stamped metal bath-tub. I found them together in a box, so I assume they are a set!

this really cracks me up! many years ago, i silkscreened these t-shirts which had a dog taking a dump and 'Got milk?' written above it.
This cracked me up too, why would anyone think to make a crapping dog?
Maybe this dog drank some milk....Perhaps he is lactose intolerant?!?

The bisque penny doll is Jiggs, a character from George McManus' comic strip, Bringing Up Father. He does pair rather well with the defecating dog, though!
