It's the 1920's, King Tut's tomb has just been opened and Egyptian Revival Jewelry is all the rage!!
This wonderful set of Burnt Orange Czech Glass Lucky Scarab beads and the fabulous contrast of the Emerald Green Paste would have been the very height of Fashion and worn by the most Avante Garde Flapper Girls whilst they partied the night away!!
I adore the strong contrast of the vivid colours and the bold design which personifies 1920's costume jewelry and the Egyptian Revival movement. What a statement these Art Deco Egyptian Revival Earrings make!!
Straight out of the roaring 20's, Scarlet Red Huge Dangly Mummy or Sarcophagus Earrings definitely not for the shrinking Violets these are a real bold statement piece of jewelry from the Art Deco Era.
I think these are so wonderful and it is a joy to me when heirloom pieces of costume jewelry like this survive through the decades to fascinate and amuse us.
