I need a little help with this one... The large stone is fantastic, with a translucent, caramel color stone with blue opalescent flecks that gives off a contrasting display depending on light and angle. I would guess that it is some type of opal, but I have done an exhaustive search with nothing quite like it.
Please help me identify this stone, it is so awesome and deserves recognition. I thank you in advance for any help.

It's beautiful. If I didn't know better, I would say it was glass. There's also a type of quartz known as Medusa Quartz, which looks somewhat similar.

      Somebody here will know!

Yes, Tassie got it, artglass called usually dragon's breath :-)

This is an oldie, newest are more strong blue and red than orange-ish and skye blue as yours is.

I am so sorry; I was just responding without thinking...
I am the sole caretaker for my 15 year old boy with severe, quadriplegic cerebral palsy. After the death of my wife, I am unable to work outside the home due to the severity of his condition. I am selling on eBay in hopes of bringing our income above poverty level . You have helped us more than you know. Thank you; Greg & Julius
