Loetz Tango Glass Vase, Amethyst with silver decoration, PN III-2225 (1 wirtel), ca. 1925

The production notes for this shape do indicate that it came in amethyst, and with one "wirtel" (the disk that connects the top portion to the base) - but this silver decoration is something I haven't seen before. The little sprigs with leaves on the top portion are spaced out similar to the Wilms decorated vases of this period. My guess is that this silver decoration was done outside the Loetz factory, but nothing surprises me any more. :)
