"Cloudy Sky" is a term I'm borrowing from the marbles collectors that describes a particular blue and white decor very similar to this Welz decor. It seems an appropriate description. This vase stands 8 3/4" (22 cm) tall with a 3" (7.5 cm) diameter at the top. The rim is enhanced with a black accent. The underside is acid-stamped with the "Made in Czechoslovakia" mark that regularly appears on Welz products.
Interestingly, this vase is bluer (less green) than other examples I have of this decor.
A subtle decor and matching the shapes.
I do love how the group shot shows subtle differences in shade, but also how differently the spatters have worked out. The lidded jar is particularly scrumptious!
