Welcome to CW Tadessa, it looks like sterling over glass. I think if you show the bottom, it will help to identify this beautiful piece! :^D Maybe some measurements too! Thank you for showing! :^)

Here's a piece of Loetz Silver overlay Glass, that's similar:

      https://www.ebay.com/itm/Very-Rare-Antique-1905-Miniature-Johann-Loetz-Papillion-Silver-Overlay-Vase-/173228749641?nma=true&si=nhfm9kaBzjrwpI54bp%252BhoGvDZJg%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

I don't know if this is related to your vase but maybe a start! :^)

Hey! A Newbie with a great piece ! Welcome to CyberAsylum, aka, CW.
    7. Tadessa, 6 years ago
Thank you all for your comments..I have been on the Loetz site, several times and see similar, yet not the size and shape of this little beauty...The piece is only 4 inches across and 4 inches high..Thank you for the warm welcome, I did post pics of the bottom and the piece in the sun, a much brighter light to see the glass...Have a great day

Tadessa, thank you for adding the new photos, and size. I'm sure that you'll get the information you need from the knowledgeable people on CW, to learn exactly what this beautiful silver overlay glass vase is, but I'm not that person! :^D I'm learning though! Thanks again for the post! :^)

Definitely Titania with the add of your new pictures of the vase bottom in natural light.
Warren will certainly come with the confirmation and the genre and PN.
    10. Tadessa, 6 years ago
May I ask who Warren is and what is a PN? Thanks
    11. Alan2310 Alan2310, 6 years ago
Warren is one of very knowledgeable loetz collector, also part of Loetz.com web site.
I mention Warren but few others can help you as well......

Sorry PN Stand “patent number”, the shape of your vase, in the archives of LOETZ.

PN= pattern number. Looking through the Lnenickova reference book, I see
PNII-5243, ca 1907. This shape comes in Gre 5032 Titania opal mit blattgrun, Titania opal with leaf green. I will post the photo of the pattern for you.
