This is a completely hand-forged and etched piece. I can't find a makers mark, but it could have been one of those little bay area arts and crafts company which made lots of this stuff - like Dirk Van Erp. i guess i'm just dreaming, but it's such a nice piece! it's large too - 12 inches by 18 inches.

i think that this piece is one of the largest produced by The Craftsman Studio - probably from the early period of their Laguna Beach location.
