This one everyone is familiar with being an 1890 patented Clinton Wall Trunk. It's just not everyday you get to see a wood slat design in the wall trunk format. This one measures 32"L x 19.5" D x 22" Tall. No interior tray, missing one roller and the lock has been played with, but comes with key. This trunk is very well preserved example as far exterior condition is concerned. It is my first wood slat trunk of any kind, so that was pretty cool ....lol I hope you enjoy seeing it for the first time, as much as I did .. Question? I know everyone refers to these slat trunks as oak. But are they in fact oak or another species of wood?
