By searching and searching, was inevitable that one day or the other, I will find a Marmopal piece, here it is.
On the 11-20, i was looking on line an item that I've put on my watching list, a Kralik wave decor in an Apollo Brass mount, it is in last minute, I asking myself by turning my office chair and looking in my showcases, if this piece will fit with the other mount glass that i already have, then i decide to let it go, without bidding.
Sometime thing happen for a reason, few minute later, i came across this Heckert Marmopale, described as " Superb 14.5" KRALIK ART NOUVEAU Iridized Glass Vase" Buy it Now or make an offer, fresh new listing up just for few hours, already being look at by 47 view, no one seeing this vase the way i see it, good for me, because the price for this vase in this size was ridiculous for a Marmopal, they can easily go for 10 time what i pay for.
My pain is not over yet, as I pay the same night, i receive an email by the seller, he mention goes at the post office only the following Friday, so 3 days left, what about he discover this is not Kralik and cancel the transaction(happen to me few time), what about a watcher email him an say you just sold a Marmopal for cheap, all scenario possible get in my head for days, and finally Friday arrive, nothing happen, the vase is in the mail on it's way to Canada.
Humm, that will be great if this will be the end of my stress, no way this could be possible, came from USA pretty quick, clear custom also quite easy(duty already pay for) Post Canada Lockout, rotating staff, but it's take not long for the Union to come and make thing worst , my parcel when from 1 hour from my house and they send at 6 hours, being there for 7 days, at one point in time, i look at my tracking, big surprise my parcel mark as delivery, WHAT, i don't have to tell you how many phone call i make that day, finally discover this was a bug in the system, confirm by 2 representative, Canada Post and Global Shipping, now the only thing left to my Karma is if the parcel arrive damaged, when i receive, there no way this could suffer any damage, the vase was roll in 2 layer of bubble wrap and surrounding by 6 inches of pop corn, side, up and base, it take me a big 15 minute to unwrapped this monster vase.
An absolute beauty that stand at 14.50 inches by 5.5 inches wide, with opalescent ground with green flake throughout the entire vessel, pattern paper number 555/1, this shape come in 3 different size, this is biggest one, the others 11.50 inches and 10 inches.
Picture 3 show the reunion with an Heckert Changeant in same size, what a duo.
A SPECIAL THANKS TO VOLKMAR SCHORCHT FOR THE PAPER PATTERN NUMBER.
