Hello everyone!!
Another recently acquired rabbit bookend. This one is cast iron (not solid, but nearly). To be cast iron, it's really very detailed, which is what initially drew my attention to it. I believe that the gold paint is his original color. He's small, but very heavy. He measures 5 3/8" tall and 2 7/8" at the widest point of the base. This bookend is from the 1930's period. I cannot detect any markings on this one, so I don't know who the maker of this one is.
