Here is a 5 1-4"H blue glass elephant with lucky trunk raised, by Eneryda Glasbruk (1956-1992) of Sweden. This elephant bears the black & silver label dating it from the 1960s-1970s

It does look like a winner all around, gorgeous colour. I love pairs so I always would wonder if I had to have a pair !~
Really cute little blue elephant!!! I adore the raised trunk, not only is it lucky but it looks like he’s reaching up to take some fruits out of a tree maybe?! The color is nearly that electric blue shade too

Thanks Phil for your super praise, it is quite a nice mid blue glass color often found in Swedish animals. I'm with you, animals in pairs are the best, I esp love when they style them as bookends
Lauren thank you for your wonderful compliments for this elephant, yes isn't that a unique raised trunk it looks in motion at its tip, he probably is reaching for something or perhaps delighting in a hose bath! Electric blue is a perfect choice for the color, this guy had so many facets it was like taking pictures of a jewel, no two came out the same, but glad you liked the end result

Searching thank you for your fantastic praise & the love for this Eneryda glass elephant, I think you are spot on about the blue color - as a teen I traveled with relatives driving from NY to Miami FL, where we hopped aboard a short cruise to the Bahamas, and I remember the sea green Florida ocean turning to just this blue as we entered Caribbean waters! Very astute observ, thank you!
Yes. I love bookends too, French mascots used to be made especially as bookends and lamps, for knick-knacks also.
Another rarely found glasshouse but of course you have a fab elephant from them.
