This 3 1-2"H cobalt blue glass dog has floppy ears and a curled tail. Pictured in book Glass Animals & Figurines by Coe in olive green, this dog is by Pilgrim Glass of Ceredo WV ca 1970s, w/ orig silver label

Awh I adore the ‘hangdog’ look and pose of him, it makes him look very mournful or like he’s trying to gain some sympathy?! Or maybe he’s just done something naughty and knows he’ll get given out to?! I’ll admit I don’t think I’ve seen a pose like this in a while but it’s great on him- he’s got so much personality with it! :D

Thank you Phil for your fab compliment for this blue barker, yes I can almost see him raising a paw for a good scratching lol! Pilgrim made very offbeat looking glass animals and they mostly stuck to a few basic colors including this cobalt blue, also red, amber, olive green & black. Glad you liked this little guy!
Lauren you're so right he has a hangdog expression as if he's been scolded, and maybe he's a hound dog with those ears! He also appears expectant, perhaps waiting for some treats. Thanks as always for your awesome praise & great observs :)
