Here are two glass swans by Mantorp of Sweden, both clear glass, the 4"H has a pink swirl body, and the 3 1-4"H has wings and a turquoise bubble glass body. With orig gold & black labels ca 1970s-1980s

Beautiful swans, one is pink and dusky like dawn and the others blue and cool like the evening... I’d both call them Odile and Odette because it seems very appropriate?! Both are so elegant too, they make a beautiful pair

Lauren I love your imaginative & fantastic comment, Odette & Odile from Swan Lake I will call them! Shall we make the pastel pink one lovely Odette, and the bold blue definitely suits Odile. One of my fave dvds is the classic Swan Lake with Margot Fonteyn & Rudolf Nureyev, her dance-acting as the treacherous Odile was amazing and she nailed the difficult 36 fouettes (spins), what a spectacular exciting ballerina she was. You have given me the idea to put these glass swans on my shelf of ballet dvds, I have several Swan Lakes & always remember my dad bringing me to the Met Opera House in NYC to see the visiting English Royal Ballet perform it yrs ago
You're so right vintagelamp these swans have interesting designs, one with wings and one without, and the blue bubble glass is intriguing plus I cannot figure how they got those pink brushstrokes inside the glass, talk about talented glassmaking! Thank you for your wonderful comment
