The cabinet of the Climax 60 personifies Art Deco design in a classic way. A rare and highly desirable model manufactured by the Climax Radio Corporation in 1938. Climax went all out that year with the extreme of Art Deco look with this model 60, the “Emerald”, “Ruby” and “Gem”. Each of these models in their own right are beautiful and of course rare and very desirable. This radio is all original and complete.

Wow that is a beautiful radio, love the warmth of the wood, & the overall design.
Again, Wow!!
This is a beauty! The louvers, the dial, the tuning eye, and most of all, the way the wood grain flows from the left, through the dial, and then to the right upper corner above the vertical louvers. It's just a beautiful set all the way around.
Beautiful, just beautiful. What do you think, about $3-$8000 retail if this radio were to still be made today(in the USA that is). The problem is, all the true craftsman have all died off. I can just see my son trying to make something like this!
Beautiful! I thought this was the 1937 version? I've got the 1938 Emerald with the square dial.
