This wonderful Opalescent Lavender "Punched Handle Vase" followed us home from Florida this spring probably because the price was reasonable but also because we liked it. It was apparently part of a Museum display that was sold to raise funds.
Kralik made these vases in different colors and shapes and some with elaborate Deco decorations. It is a humongous thing at 12" tall by 10" in diameter and has a deep polished pontil. The iridescence and color shading from light lavender near the base to a darker lavender near the top is quite striking. It has three triangular handles near the top thus the name "punched handle" and a silvery grey applied rim. RER(BOB)
