I don't normally buy ornaments, but I fell in love with this cute little bird. It has a paper label marked John Jenkins, fine porcelain. Although there is a lot of John Jenkins stuff on the internet, I couldn't actually find out who he is, where it's made etc. Anyone know more?

I am not sure the top link is the same John Jenkins as the bottom link. It seems to be mostly glassware!

JJ is an importer, not a producer. Lovely little bird!

Try googling John Jenkins Japan ? I have a cat ornament that I had no idea was of Japanese origin until a friend told me. Could be completely incorrect!!
