Good afternoon all! It seems I've been posting about once a week. I knew very little about Alexandrite glass and thought it to be exclusive Czech / European material. This Cesare Tosso Madonna shows in natural light as a beautiful frosted lilac and changes to a pale blue in artificial light. Stunning variation due to the presence of neodymium in the glass. I think I want more alexandrite pieces! Lol . Hope you like it and thanks for taking a look.
