One of these cabinets has a metal tag on it which says 'Library Bureau Sole Makers' - whatever that means. I'm going to use these for storing California native plant seeds which i have begun to sell at the nursery. I don't know how old these are, but they were last used in the 1940s by the son of a famous Chinese herbalist in San Francisco. I'll do another post on some of the things i found inside them.

These are really nice cabinets
OMG I love these!!! I have to tell you, there is a lady on Etsy that sells "exotic" seeds from around the world and this lady makes a killing. She has to hire people to help her pack and ship orders! Good luck with your seed sales, I hope you do well with them.
Love these too!..I have an old metal one I keep under the kitchen bench and I keep me spices in them ...:-)
