This 1 3-4" brooch is shaped like a crest or shield & shows the mythological Pan the faun playing his pipes surrounded by faux pearls & red rhinestones on antique goldtone. By Coro (1901-1998), pat pend dates 1940s or earlier

Thanks Eileen, in my memory Pan was sort of a pied piper right, and I think a faun has cloven hooves like a centaur. I love mythology pieces so this Coro was a really nice find for me, appreciate your lovely praise
