Thought this was the last of my 6" Marx Disney figures but I believe I have one or two more. This one of course is Bambi from the movie of the same name. This was made in 1972 by Marx for Disneyworld. It has a date stamp of MCMXXII which is 1972. Although they were sold in toy stores everywhere. It is pretty well sculpted considering it is based on an animated deer. Don't think I should call it a cartoon.
The last photo is the Marx Disneykin version which is much smaller as in at about an inch and a half.
Plenty of exciting items to come I just need to photograph them. In the meantime, stay tuned to the website.
Very cute, I have some small Bambi's but none as nice this one.
The blue Bambi is beautifully formed, the smaller one is painted so cute as is little Thumper. Loved that cartoon as a kid
