Here is a 5 1-2"H peach glass retriever type dog from the Ronald Stennett Willson animal series for Wedgwood Glass in the 1970s, with etched name on bottom

Beautiful retriever, I think she may be a chocolate Labrador even, and is sitting there so fatefully waiting for a walkies!
The pose is really great, it makes her look so patient and loyal awaiting something from her owner!

Karen wasn't Mr Stennett Willson great, Wedgwood was so lucky to have him! I am still discovering more animals from his 70s line, and how cool to find this dog in rare peach glass (for animals). Wonderful comment my friend thanks so much
Thank you Phil for your fabulous praise, yes this pup looks ready to respond to his owner, looks to be very well trained - if a retriever they made great guide dogs, a very helpful breed. He could also be waiting for a hard earned treat!
Thanks Kevin for your super praise, this color peach in glass is always a delightful find as it's one of my less common glass colors. It is sculpted quite nicely esp around the face, though detail is a bit hard to see with the sun filtering thru, but I love taking pictures on a sunny day to show a pretty glass color like this
Lauren thank you for your fantastic comment & seeing the alertness in this pup, I was thinking a Labrador retriever too, that obedient stance! They are such gentle dogs for their size, and make the most adorable puppies in all their colors. Very lucky to find this Wedgwood version it's pretty rare
Thanks Glenn for your great & fun comment, the only plastic I saw this wknd was a snow shovel, now that's all turned to ice & awaiting a rainstorm today to hopefully get rid of it - not surprised, it's January and freezing here. You stay warm & safe too OK
