Hello everyone!!
I came across this cast iron fox head paperweight recently and couldn't pass it up. I was very pleased to be able to add this fox head to my collection and I love the detail of this one as well. This one is very old and would date back to the mid to late 1800's. It has a wonderful patina and still retains most of it's original paint. Paperweights tended to retain most of their paint vs. doorstops which tended to be kicked around and roughly treated. It measures 3 1/4" long, 1 3/4" tall and weighs 1lb 6oz.

Thanks!! I did have to clean it and give it good coat of wax and buffed it. But, it is still in fine condition to be so old.
